Head of HR, JLL MEA and Turkey

Kabira joined JLL-MEA leadership team in August 2014 as the Head of Human Resources. Her key responsibilities include providing leadership and strategic human resources direction for JLL MEA towards fulfilling the vision of JLL being recognized as a premium employer globally. In her role she is working closely with the leadership team towards building a high performing team, driving change, embedding new ways of working and engaging people in order to gain a competitive edge, attract, select, develop and retain talents. She is passionate about leading continuous improvement, culture change to support the growth of the business.

In her role, she supports at the Board level to:

  • Customize and align corporate governance practices with leading international practice.
  • Builds strong corporate culture and values.
  • Drives policies and procedures to ensure effective governance, reviewing strategies
  • Set the organization’s strategic direction, defining its mission, vision, and values.
  • Approve and monitor the implementation of strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Evaluate the organization’s performance against strategic goals and adjust as needed.
  • Assess potential risks and opportunities related to the organization’s strategic objectives
  • Set and uphold ethical standards for the organization, including promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability.
  • Ensure that the organization operates in a socially responsible and sustainable manner.

Kabira comes with over 25 years of experience in Human Capital practices including talent acquisition, talent development, organization development and policy governance.

Before joining JLL MEA, she held the role of Head of Human Resources at Dubai International Financial Center Authority, overseeing the Human Resources function.  Prior to that, Kabira held the position of Assistant General Manager - Human Resources and Administration at Maersk Kanoo in Dubai, managing UAE, Oman and Qatar. In the initial days of her career, Kabira worked as Manager - Compensation and Training at Kodak India Limited’s corporate office.

Kabira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, a Diploma in Training and Development, a Diploma in Business Management, specializing in Human Resources and holds a Chartered FCIPD in Human Resources Development
